Sydney airport, located in Mascot, 8km south of Sydney’s CBD, is Australia’s busiest commercial airport. It features two connected domestic terminals and one nearby International terminal, with regular transfers between the terminals.
Each terminal offers a variety of retail and duty-free shops – clothing or music stores, florists, jewellers – as well as numerous eateries and restaurants to ensure your appetite is satisfied.
Services and facilities include baggage storage, passenger lounges, car rental agencies, showers and baby change rooms, internet rooms, ATMs, smoking lounges, prayer room, and disabled and wheelchair services. If you are travelling with children, Sydney airport has areas designed specifically for kids including a cinema, and arrival and departure lounges.
Assistance is available from helpful airport staff and a team of volunteers, known as Gold Ambassadors. They can be found throughout the terminals and at service desks, and are recognisable by their bright gold jackets.

Airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, British Airways and Emirates Airlines use the International terminal, while the Domestic terminal is home to domestic and regional Australian airlines like Qantas Airways, Jetstar, Virgin Blue, Air Link and Big Sky Express.
There are all sorts of transport options at the airport in Sydney include Airport Link, a train service which runs at ten minute intervals to the city and between terminals. Sydney airport parking offers long and short-term parking facilities with a special valet service if required. Shuttle bus transfers service city hotels and nearby airport accommodation, including Mercure Hotel, Stamford Plaza and Holiday Inn.
